What is Cross-Docking?

A logistics process where incoming goods are unloaded from one transport vehicle and directly loaded onto another, minimizing storage time in a warehouse.

Example. A grocery distributor transfers incoming pallets directly to outbound trucks without storage, maintaining cold chain for fresh products.
